      Harbhajan Singh Personal Life

Harbhajan Singh Plaha was born on July 3, 1980, in the busy town of Jalandhar, Punjab. His parents are Sardar Sardev Singh Plaha and Avtar Kaur. The loving mother Avtar Kaur took care of the home front, and the forward-thinking businessman Sardev Singh, who managed a successful firm that made ball bearings, dreamed of his son carrying on the family tradition. But destiny had other ideas.

Raised among five sisters, Harbhajan was raised with a different set of aspirations despite the expectations of his family: cricket. Driven by an ardor that started when he was just seven years old, he went through the educational halls of Jai Hind Model School, Government Model Senior Secondary School, and Parvati Jain High School, all located in Jalandhar.
But his desire of the cricket field was stronger than his academic activities, so he decided to dedicate all of his attention to his sports career.

At first, Harbhajan was trained as a batter by his first instructor, Charanjit Singh, who watched over him closely. But the future had other plans, and after Charanjit's tragic death, something important happened. He adopted the game of spin bowling and took a new direction under Davinder Arora's guidance.

Actress Geeta Basra became the main focus of a story about Harbhajan's personal life that was equally compelling as his on-field successes. Following a five-year covert relationship, the couple tied the knot in November 2015 in a traditional Punjabi ceremony that honored their cultural background.

When their first child, a daughter named Hinaya Heer Plaha, was born in 2016, their marriage blossomed. Their delight as a family was increased a year later on July 10, 2021, when their son Jovan Veer Singh Plaha was born.
